Mohawk Valley Gives Day

Herkimer County HealthNet, Inc. (HCHN) is the leading voice in Herkimer County’s health and human service system. It has served as a bridge between organizations inside and outside of Herkimer County, addressing issues identified through its Strategic Planning Process, the Herkimer and Oneida Counties Community Indicators Report, and the Herkimer County Risk Assessment Profile.
HCHN has addressed this by assembling a partnership of key organizations that serve Herkimer County, focusing on change at the environmental and policy levels supported by evidence-based programming. These partnerships have implemented a variety of initiatives, which have all been designed to implement sustainable policy, system, and environmental changes, supported by complementary programs in the community.
This partnership, which has had a history of success over the last 30 years, has been augmented as new opportunities for collaboration have been identified.

Herkimer County HealthNet has been selected by the Mele Family Fund, a donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation, to be the recipient of a Mohawk Valley Gives $1,000 challenge grant on September 20! This means that once HealthNet receives online donations from 20 unique donors between 12:00am and 11:59pm on that day, our organization will receive a $1,000 award!
